Summary

One Acre Fund is seeking a Trees Sustainability Coordinator to support the execution of its Trees Sustainability workstream by centralising program data, strengthening reporting systems, and improving field operations through dashboards, surveys, and performance analysis. 

The role focuses on ensuring efficient programme delivery and generating insights that improve tree-based agricultural initiatives for farmers.

Responsibilities

  • Support the coordination and implementation of the Trees Sustainability workstream
  • Maintain project schedules, timelines, and milestones
  • Document lessons learned, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Consolidate and maintain program data and documentation, including the Fruit Trees Programme
  • Develop dashboards to track project performance, nursery efficiency, germination rates, farmer enrolment, sales, and distribution
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and accessibility of program data
  • Conduct budget variance analysis and report insights to programme leadership
  • Provide actionable recommendations to field teams based on performance data
  • Prepare presentations and reports for management decision-making
  • Design and support farmer surveys to gather insights for program improvement
  • Conduct regular field visits to farmers, nursery managers, and community leaders to strengthen programme execution
  • Train field staff on programme objectives, data collection, and reporting requirements
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and adoption of best practices in tree management and value chains
  • Conduct regular team check-ins and contribute to staff performance reviews

Requirements

  • University degree in Business Administration, International Development, Agricultural Economics, or a related field
  • 1–2 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience implementing agroforestry projects at the field level

Technical Skills

  • Strong data analysis and dashboard development skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and reports
