Why AgroCentric Exists

Knowledge Africa generates every day — too often lost between projects.

Africa generates extraordinary agricultural knowledge every day. Researchers publish groundbreaking studies. Farmers develop practical innovations. Entrepreneurs launch transformative technologies. Governments implement new policies. Development organizations invest billions in agricultural programmes.

Yet much of this knowledge remains difficult to discover, connect and apply. Important lessons are often lost after projects conclude, while valuable opportunities for collaboration go unrealized.

AgroCentric was created to help bridge these gaps by making agricultural knowledge more visible, accessible and actionable. We believe that when better information is shared more effectively, stronger decisions become possible — and those decisions create lasting impact for people, institutions and food systems.
