Job Summary

The African Development Bank (AfDB) is seeking a qualified professional to join its African Development Institute as a Capacity Development Analyst. The role is vital in designing, managing, and evaluating training, advisory, and policy support programmes across African countries.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage capacity-building activities, such as workshops, training, and stakeholder engagement
• .Coordinate the Bank’s training platforms (PCMA, PFMA)
• Prepare reports, briefs, and knowledge materials
• Work closely with Bank departments and external partners to improve development impact.
• Support country-level assessments and project implementation units.

Requirements

• A Master’s in Economics, Public Policy, Technology, or a related field
• Strong experience with project cycle management and capacity development
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English or French
• Strategic thinking, data literacy, and experience with training delivery or knowledge platforms
