Summary

ActionAid Nigeria is seeking a Communications and Knowledge Management Consultant to support its Inclusive Food Systems Project (IFSP). The consultant will lead content creation, media engagement, digital communications, and knowledge management activities to enhance project visibility, stakeholder engagement, and learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop communication and media content for digital and print platforms.
• Produce stories, multimedia content, and project publications.
• Coordinate media engagements, press releases, and stakeholder communications.
• Document project learning, best practices, and success stories.
• Manage project knowledge products and communication materials.
• Support staff and partner capacity building on communications and documentation.

Requirements

• Degree in Mass Communication, Fine Arts, Theatre Arts, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience, including 2 years in communications, media, or the development sector.
• Strong writing, content creation, photography, and digital communication skills.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
• Experience in website management, media relations, and knowledge management is an advantage.
• Knowledge of the agriculture sector is desirable.
