Job Summary 

Sahel Consulting is seeking an Artificial Insemination Officer to oversee implementing and monitoring artificial insemination programs in project states.

Responsibilities

1. Support in the procurement of artificial insemination inputs such as hormones, semen, liquid nitrogen and other artificial insemination inputs.

2. Train participating farmers on good husbandry practices and facilitate the training of trainer sessions for Artificial Insemination.

3. Engagement with the artificial insemination service providers.

4Prepare periodic field reports and participate in review meetings.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, animal science, veterinary medicine, or related fields.

2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in livestock extension services, rural agriculture programs, etc.
