Summary

The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) is seeking expressions of interest from qualified individual consultants to conduct a comprehensive review of its Youth Program.

Eligibility

Interested consultants should demonstrate experience in:

• African agricultural development and youth employment ecosystems
• Youth development programmes, particularly in agriculture and agribusiness
• Agribusiness incubation, entrepreneurship, and employment initiatives
• Programme reviews, impact assessments, and cost-benefit analysis
• Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) systems
• Agricultural value chain development and financial analysis

Requirements

Applicants must submit:

• Detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• Evidence of relevant professional experience
• Academic and professional certificates
• Proof of registration as an independent consultant or business entity (where applicable)
• Valid means of identification
• Tax Identification Number (TIN) or evidence of tax compliance (where applicable)
• Contact details and recommendation letters from at least three referees
• Two sample reports demonstrating experience in programme reviews, evaluations, or strategic assessments
