Summary

One Acre Fund is in need of an exceptional researcher with 3-5+ years of experience to identify and test agricultural innovations. You will recommend products and practices that directly improve the resilience and livelihoods of farming households.

Responsibilities

• Conduct literature reviews and expert consultations. 
• Design and lead on-station (Phase 1) and on-farm (Phase 2) trials.
• Use statistical software (STATA or R) to analyze trial data.
• Manage a field team of officers and coordinators. 
• Train the trial team on high-quality execution and data collection standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Rural Livelihoods, or a related field (Mandatory). A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Proficient in STATA, R, or similar statistical software. High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• 3–5 years of Project Management experience. Previous experience in Agricultural Research is a significant plus.
• Proven ability to mentor others and manage diverse teams.
• Willingness to live in rural areas and travel frequently to remote trial sites.
