Summary

IITA seeks a Research Supervisor to support watershed management, crop production, and technology adoption among smallholder farmers.

Responsibilities

• Build partnerships to promote improved agricultural and watershed practices.
• Train farmers and extension workers on crop production, water-efficient methods, and post-harvest handling.
• Facilitate testing, demonstration, and adoption of improved technologies and crop varieties.
• Support stakeholder engagement, community mobilization, and project planning.
• Prepare high-quality technical reports and support other assigned tasks.
  

Qualifications

• HND/BSc in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, or related fields.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a structured organization.
• Experience working with NGOs, research bodies, and farmers across value chains.
• Fluency in English and Hausa with strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
