First City Monument Bank (FCMB), in collaboration with the Dutch Entrepreneurial Development Bank (FMO) and HeaveVentures, has successfully concluded the FCMB AgriTech Hackathon 2025, an initiative designed to accelerate innovation, sustainability, and digital transformation across Nigeria’s agricultural value chain.
Speaking at the event, Kudzai Gumunyu, Divisional Head, Agribusiness and Non-Oil Exports at FCMB, said:

The FCMB AgriTech Hackathon 2025 has provided a platform for innovative startups to showcase solutions that improve efficiency, promote sustainable practices, and strengthen food security.
By fostering digital tools and entrepreneurial skills, the initiative aims to transform Nigeria’s agribusiness sector into a globally competitive industry.
Through partnerships with FMO and HeaveVentures, the hackathon not only supports startups with funding and mentorship but also connects them to markets where their solutions can scale.
