Summary

ADM is seeking an Account Manager to drive its Carbohydrates Solutions portfolio, covering starches and sweeteners, across West, East, and Southern Africa. This role focuses on expanding ADM’s food customer base, managing key accounts, and delivering sustainable business growth in the fast-evolving African market.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with food industry clients and distributors.
• Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans.
• Identify market opportunities and support customer projects.
• Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to create customer-focused solutions.
• Represent ADM in tenders and regional business initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Technology, or Business Administration.
• Proven experience in B2B food ingredients sales, especially in starches and sweeteners (beverages, bakery, confectionery, dairy, etc.).
• Strong technical knowledge, communication, and client relationship skills.
• Flexible, self-motivated, and willing to travel (up to 20%).
• Fluent in English.
