Atinuke | 24th March 2025

The Nigeria Police Trust Fund (NPTF) and the National Agricultural Lands Development Authority (NALDA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to form a strategic cooperation to improve security across NALDA’s mega farm estates nationwide.

During the signing ceremony, NALDA’s Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer, Mr Cornelius Adebayo, stated that the collaboration will protect agro-investments by providing security in mega farm estates and creating opportunities for police officers and their families.

“With over 10,000 hectares of Mega Farm Estates, this initiative is set to boost agricultural development whilst ensuring safety and empowerment.

“This partnership is a game-changer for Nigeria’s agricultural landscape—where security meets sustainability, and empowerment fuels progress. Together, we are building a future where agribusiness thrives, communities prosper, and investments are safeguarded. The journey has just begun,” the NALDA Boss added.
