Nigerian Agribusiness Leaders to Join Global Livestock Export in France

Members of Nigeria’s chambers of commerce and agric-related firms have confirmed their participation in the SPACE 2025 Global Animal Farming Trade Show in Rennes, France, from September 16 to 18.

According to Promosalons Nigeria, organiser of the yearly mission of Nigerian companies to the event, SPACE is an international trade show for professionals across all areas of animal production. 

SPACE, also known as PLANET LIVESTOCK, attracts over 1,400 exhibitors and 100,000 professional visitors from more than 120 countries annually.

Akin Akinbola, Managing Director/CEO of Promosalons Nigeria, Cameroon and Gabon, said SPACE offers Nigerian participants a rare opportunity to access innovations, trends, and solutions shaping the global animal production industry.

“Whether you are a farmer, a breeder, a feed manufacturer, a veterinarian, a researcher, or an equipment supplier, you will find at SPACE a wealth of information and solutions to improve your performance and competitiveness,” Akinbola said.

He explained that Africa has always been a priority region for the exhibition. “This dynamic is reflected in the African continent’s growing presence each year, accounting for 28 percent of the international visitors at the 2024 edition. 

This enthusiasm, driven by the participation of professionals from 32 African countries, establishes SPACE as the reference Exhibition for these players. It is an essential event for gathering information, developing partnerships, and identifying solutions tailored to these challenges,” he added.

SPACE covers various animal production sectors, including fish, poultry, rabbit, cattle, sheep and goat. 

It also showcases animal feed and nutrition services, livestock equipment, ranch materials, genetics, energy, waste treatment, animal health, and milking systems.

The Nigerian business delegation will include companies such as Glister Success, Feed Avenue Limited, Tosam Integrated Services, Chimero Agrovet & Farms, Williams Dabo Group, Aimar Farms, Jubaili Agrotech, Yambagi Nigeria, Nicoprime Feed, Coniah Simba, Kebim Trading International, F.C. Azodo Enterprises, Nigerian Society for Animal Production, Esosa Food Systems & Innovations, Yobe State Chamber of Commerce, Industry Mines & Agriculture, Tibekwe International Concept, and others.

Delegates will be exposed to cutting-edge technologies, new f livestock breeds, equipment, and business ideas. 

They will also have opportunities to interact and exchange knowledge with professionals worldwide.

Farm tours, aquaculture sessions, VIP receptions for international visitors, and business-to-business meetings are expected to benefit participants.
