Summary

Are you a food processor or Agri-SME working with rice or cashew? This is your chance to develop new or improved products and get the support you need to bring them to market.

The German-funded MOVE (Market-Oriented Value Chains for Jobs and Growth in the ECOWAS Region) project, in partnership with Nigeria’s Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Investment, is inviting applications from processors in the rice and cashew value chains. This initiative aims to help businesses increase product demand, better serve consumers, and drive profitability through innovation.

Responsibilities

• Develop new, modified, or innovative products using rice, cashew, or their by-products.
• Submit a concept note and financial proposal outlining your idea.
• If selected, participate in product development activities and a market exhibition event.

Requirements

• Must be an Agri-SME or food processor working with rice or cashew.
• Eligible product types include:
  • New-to-market products
  • New-to-business products
  • Improved or upgraded products
  • Entirely innovative products
• Submission of both a concept note and a financial proposal is required.

Upon completion, successful applicants will receive support to develop and launch their new products, culminating in a high-profile market exhibition organised by the project.
