Job Summary 

IITA seeks a skilled medical laboratory services manager to oversee daily operations and conduct specialised tests.

Responsibilities

1. Timely and comprehensive preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment and instruments.

2 . Optimised management of both fixed and expendable laboratory resources.

3. Execution of the Expanded Biennial Comprehensive Medical Examination for various staff groups: General Staff, Senior Staff, Managers, and IRS.

4. Laboratory resource forecasting and inventory management utilizing generated statistics.

Requirements

1. Master’s degree in Chemical Pathology OR B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Science from a recognized institution.
2. Registration with the Associate Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (AMLSCN).

3. Minimum of 8 years of experience in Chemical Pathology, Hematology, Microbiology, Blood Grouping and Transfusion Science, and Histopathology.

3. Professional certification in the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) Licensure is required.
