Summary

The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) is seeking an Individual Consultant to prepare the Project Completion Report (PCR) for the African Development Bank-funded Technologies for African Agricultural Transformation (TAAT) Phase II project.

The consultant will evaluate the project’s overall performance, sustainability, financial management, gender integration, and development impact, while documenting key lessons and recommendations to guide future agricultural interventions.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree or higher in Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, Project Management, Development Economics, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in project evaluation, project completion reporting, and development programme management.
• Experience with African Development Bank, World Bank, or similar donor-funded projects is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of monitoring and evaluation, project cycle management, financial management, and agricultural value chains.
• Fluency in English and a good working knowledge of French.
