Summary

Babban Gona is seeking a Fundraising & Capital Partnerships Officer to lead fundraising efforts across debt, equity, and grant financing. The successful candidate will manage the full capital-raising process, build strong investor and donor relationships, and support the organisation’s mission of improving the livelihoods of smallholder farmers in Nigeria.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue funding opportunities across grants, debt, and equity.
• Lead fundraising processes from opportunity identification to funding agreements.
• Prepare investment memoranda, grant proposals, financial models, and fundraising materials.
• Coordinate investor and donor due diligence processes.
• Manage fundraising pipelines and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Support investor reporting and capital mobilisation activities.

Requirements

• 4–5 years of experience in fundraising, finance, investment, or stakeholder management.
• Experience managing grant applications or capital-raising processes.
• Strong proposal writing, financial analysis, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple fundraising processes simultaneously.
• A strong interest in agricultural development and impact investing.
