Summary

Sahel Consulting is recruiting an Ecosystem and Institutional Strengthening (EIS) Specialist to support the Sustainable Poultry Entrepreneurship and Employment Programme (SEPTP). 

Responsibilities

• Lead policy engagement with government agencies and industry stakeholders.
• Support institutional capacity building for poultry sector organisations.
• Coordinate multi-stakeholder platforms and public-private partnerships.
• Develop policy briefs, sector analyses, and program reports.
• Facilitate state-level policy reforms and private sector engagement across SEPTP focal states.
• Monitor work plans, stakeholder activities, and program implementation.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics, Public Policy, Development Studies, or a related field (a master’s degree is an advantage).
• 5–7 years of experience in policy advocacy, institutional strengthening, or agricultural market systems development.
• Experience engaging government institutions and coordinating multi-stakeholder initiatives.
• Strong policy analysis, stakeholder management, communication, and partnership-building skills.
• Willingness to travel across project states.
