Firm Launches Corporate Farm Model to Industrialise Nigerian Agriculture

A pub subsidiary of the Origin Tech Group Nigeria, Origin Automobile Works (OAW),, has launched a Corporate Farm Model Initiative designed to unlock large-scale investment and bolster food security across the nation.

Unveiled in Lagos before a distinguished audience of government officials, financial institutions, and agribusiness leaders, the initiative seeks to accelerate the transition of Nigerian agriculture from a subsistence-based activity into a high-value, commercial enterprise.

The Executive Chairman of Origin Tech Group, Prince Samuel Joseph, emphasised that the mission is centred on a “100% Agriculture, 100% Value” philosophy, ensuring that farmers receive the full economic benefits of their labour while agriculture serves as a sustainable engine for national prosperity.

The Corporate Farm model is structured as an integrated framework that addresses the complexities of the entire agricultural value chain, from initial land development to final market delivery.

According to Leo Edwards, the Chief Operating Officer of Origin Automobile Works, the initiative is built upon four strategic pillars specifically designed to enhance operational efficiency and maximise output value.

By providing a structured pathway for corporate investment, the model aims to address long-standing productivity gaps and strengthen the overall resilience of the sector.

Supporting the vision, Femi Ajayi, the Managing Director of EKOLOG, described the initiative as a forward-looking model capable of attracting much-needed capital into various segments of the agricultural ecosystem.

Stakeholders at the launch agreed that the introduction of corporate farming structures offers a viable solution to the economic challenges facing the sector, potentially transforming Nigeria’s vast uncultivated land into productive assets.

The initiative marks a significant step for Origin Tech Group in its commitment to driving innovation and fostering partnerships that align with the federal government’s agricultural transformation agenda.
