Summary
The Plant Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the plant, ensuring efficient production, quality compliance, engineering performance, and QEHS standards. The role requires strong leadership in manufacturing operations, cost optimisation, industrial relations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end plant operations, including production, processing, quality, engineering, and QEHS
• Ensure adherence to food safety and quality management systems (HACCP, FSSC, BRC, ISO 14000)
• Drive production efficiency, cost optimisation, and OEE improvement
• Lead preventive maintenance, engineering best practices, and project delivery
• Implement cost-efficiency and continuous improvement programmes
• Manage industrial relations, labour productivity, and union negotiations
• Develop and control plant budgets covering labour, energy, materials, and maintenance

Requirements

• Engineering degree from a reputable institution
• 15–20 years’ experience in plant management within a leading FMCG environment
• Strong leadership, team management, and industrial relations experience
• Prior experience in biscuits, wafers, or bakery manufacturing is an advantage
