Summary
Olam Agri is looking for a Plant Accountant to collaborate with the Plant Management team. This role involves overseeing financial accounting, cost control, inventory management, and compliance at the plant level. The Plant Accountant will convert operational data into actionable financial insights while ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to corporate financial policies.

Responsibilities

• Manage standard costing, variance analysis, and cost control.
• Oversee inventory accuracy, reconciliation, and scrap management.
• Prepare monthly plant financials, manage fixed assets, and ensure compliance.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and CAPEX evaluation.
• Provide operational decision support and process improvement recommendations.

Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant (CPA, ACCA, CMA, CA) preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–8 years of accounting experience; minimum 3 years in Plant/Cost Accounting.
• Experience in Agribusiness, Food Processing, or a manufacturing company
