Summary
The Finance & Grants Officer will ensure accurate grant reconciliation, strengthen internal controls, support audits, and deliver timely financial reports. The role also includes training teams on compliance, improving financial processes, and supporting AGRA’s transition to accrual accounting.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare grant reconciliations and audit documentation.
  • Address audit findings and coordinate audit queries.
  • Produce monthly/quarterly grant financial reports with variance analysis.
  • Ensure alignment between finance and grants management systems.
  • Monitor donor compliance, shared cost allocations, and grant balances.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Accounting certification required.
  • Master’s degree is an added advantage.
