Keystone Bank has announced a partnership with the Office of the First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. Mrs. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, and the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security in a bid to strengthen food security, promote inclusive economic growth, and advance the Renewed Hope Initiative, Agricultural Support Programme (RHI-ASP).

The collaboration, announced on Wednesday, was described by Keystone Bank as a key part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy and a reflection of its ongoing efforts toward national development.

Through this initiative, the bank seeks to boost agricultural productivity, empower local communities, and contribute to long-term economic sustainability in Nigeria.

The high-level event drew notable dignitaries, including the Wife of the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Mrs. Oluremi Hamzat, who reiterated the state government’s support for the programme and commended its potential to transform rural livelihoods.

Keystone Bank was represented by senior executives, including Helen Maiyegun, Directorate Head of Lagos Island and West; Eniola Jegede, Head of Public Sector, Lagos and West; and Ayoyinka Thompson, Business Team Lead, Eko Zone.

Their presence reinforced the bank’s commitment to fostering strategic public-private partnerships in the agricultural sector.

“This collaboration reflects a deep commitment to nation-building through strategic investments in agriculture, youth empowerment, and women-led initiatives, sectors critical to driving inclusive economic growth,” the bank stated.

The RHI-ASP aims to support smallholder farmers, particularly women and youth, by improving access to agricultural inputs, knowledge resources, and climate-resilient practices.

The programme aligns with Nigeria’s broader agenda for food security, poverty reduction, and economic resilience.
