Pa. Nosa Igiebor, the revered Patron of Fuente Farm, has been conferred with one of Nigeria’s most prestigious national honours, the Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON), by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Members of the Fuente Farm community formally announced the recognition with deep pride and gratitude, praising Pa. Igiebor’s lifetime of exceptional contributions to agriculture and national development.

“With immense pride I announce the conferment of the prestigious title of Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) upon our esteemed Patron at Fuente Farm, Pa. Nosa Igiebor, by the Office: President of The Federal Republic of Nigeria,” a statement from Fuente Farm read.

The statement also thanked President Tinubu for acknowledging Igiebor’s impact: “We extend our heartfelt gratitude to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for recognising his outstanding achievements.”

For decades, Pa. Nosa Igiebor has been a voice of excellence in Nigeria’s agricultural sector, mentoring young farmers, supporting innovation, and strengthening community-based food systems. 

His efforts have inspired many and advanced the country’s broader goal of agricultural sustainability.

Pa. Nosa Igiebor now joins the distinguished ranks of Nigerians honoured for their service, integrity, and enduring legacy. The award further solidifies his position as a leading figure in the agricultural development space in Nigeria.
