The MTN Foundation has reported investing over N30 billion in projects and interventions, which have positively impacted the lives of millions of Nigerians.

The launch event occurred at the Cultural Centre in Kuto, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Agriconnect is a collaboration between the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, the Ogun State Government, and partners, including the MTN Foundation and Huawei.

According to Sanya, the MTN Foundation’s empowerment initiatives and interventions complemented the Sustainable Development Goals and national agendas.

“With our strategic focus on capacity building, health, and economic empowerment, of which the AgriConnect Initiative is a crucial component, we have impacted communities and touched the lives of over 33 million Nigerians across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT),” she stated.
